365: Day 3 The Vibrant Dead Cat

I had a lot of plans for my day three like finally tackling those Japanese beer cans, but I wanted to finish the Mexican Sugar Cat Skull quilt block first. I think it came out really wild and vibrant. It was fun to use up some that fabric stash and all for a good cause. Finishing a project really feels great. Let me know what you think about my latest creation.

This square is gorgeous. I saw it today on Skull-A-Day.

In a sad but beautiful coincidence, I am putting my beloved but very old and very ill cat to sleep this afternoon.

Seeing your quilt square on today of all days was such a wonderful moment of beauty. Thank you for making this and sharing it with Skull-A-Day readers.

Hi Lydia,
Thank you for the compliment. It was really nice of you to write me.

I am very sorry to hear about your cat. Long time ago I had to make that same decision and I didn't do it. I always regretted not doing that for my cat. It's not an easy decision.

I peace and comfort at this sad time.

Thank you for the kind words.

And I do hope that, if my bid doesn't win that quilt block at the auction, I at least give someone else a run for their money!

Your work is beautiful, and so perfect.
